Looks like a great event, but I would like a bit more info with regards to route and how much climbing there will be????

It's 15 min from my house, so I would like to do it!

So glad they moved the Western Cape race from Tulbach. Looking forward to this, going to be brilliant.

in a way yes, would've been cool if they kept both so I can measure myself on previous years results.

I can understand why the Tulbagh race was chopped, still think it's a pity, I really liked that race. More than enough opportunities for me to ride Meerendal & Tygerberg trails, not so much in Tulbagh.

I hope the Meerendal race is a success though, will definitely support it!

Pretty sure it will sell out pretty quick. I just entered. Not taking any chances.

so as a nobody, can I qualify to ride the 75km or is that what the 20km fun ride is therefore?

Anyone can ride whichever distance they want, we just have official categories per distance. The only one where you need to have the correct license in place will be the UCI Ultra event.

It would of, but then we couldn't keep it with the current turn out, we needed more entrants, to keep the sponsors happy :) - Maybe one day when you guys love the series we'll add it back ;) - with your support.

I agree the turnouts were horrendous & because it so far, people pack up & leave ASAP just to get back home early.
