And they aren't "claiming" a benefit, there is a benefit to uploading your Garmin data to Vitality. By "claiming a benefit" I mean Discovery subsidise the purchase of the unit IF you are on THEIR Vitality program. Autostyle have claimed the "discounted Vitality price" by getting Discovery to pay for a portion of the unit.Not sure that is legal. Anyone from Discovery have more info?

fanievb Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I think the biggest issue for me is the fact that they re-list EVERYTHING at once, so if you happened to have advertised anything before them, it gets pushed down the page and gets missed. THIS!! I have no issue with the advertising but re-listing everything over and over again at the expense of other ads is annoying.

Anyone from Discovery have more info?I think the sticker goes on when Garmin and Discovery have a chat. Im not sure of the commercial arrangement between the two. But honestly, who gives a crap. Discovery are big boys and will quickly sue if they feel they need to. If the price is right buy it, if its not don't.

King_Crispy Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 But that is what I'm asking, and Mo never answered. Maybe they have a scheme that is using fake vitality numbers to qualify for the Discovery discount. I spoke to someone who also sells Garmin, and they say something doesn't add up here

M Ismail Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Thumbs up to Mohammed at autostyle for a great deal and advise on a Garmin edge 510,they are R900 cheaper then cyclelab and offer you great service.There is nothing wrong with the units and is all legit!,Maybe you guys should go to autostyle in Jhb and see what a big company they are and also have been around for some time now ,so i doubt they are pulling a scam from vitality.

I actually dont see the issue seeing that they have paid to advertise. Their ads just stand out alot more than other Dealers, and if you ask me, the ad is then done right cause it catches your attention. So big up to the person in charge of creating them

Not exactly sure why some hubbers moaned, but honestly, do your homework, pop Mo an email and see the magic happen. There is no or very little retailers out there where you can negotiate a bit. I have had the attitude, that if you can find it cheaper, go buy it there then. Autostyle has always come up to the challenge and matched and mostly beat the price. I say again. That is business! What other retailer offers his personal Cell no on call 24/7? Im self employed and I wont do that. Thanks Mo, great business, great service nice to deal with you guys. A no s*!t approach.
