Anyone in the North Coast area/Ballito, drop me a line. After all, you'll need your bike, you'll be going nowhere fast on our roads at the moment!

The Nutters have some awesome rides planned over the Dec holiday period.

Will give you a call if the bike makes it down, just a little down on fitness currently, planning at least a couple of Holla trips and hopefully some Giba

I hear the roads down that side are a mess again, last year it was in front of lifestyle, ,  will plan to stay in as much as possible and spend the time on the beach or bike, :-)

I have to delay my holiday by a week - too many projects to complete before ignoring everything for another two.

That means I'm arriving in Kleinmond sometime on the 20th - will probably ride from the 22nd onwards for those in the surrounding areas.

Gerald, drop me a line if you looking to do any base road riding in Gauteng in December...

Thanks, but I've just updated our club ride plans for December-February, so GP rides are sorted. I'm working until the 19th, so it's normal pre-sunrise training for me until the 19th. Then it's MTBing in the WP for me until the 3rd of Jan.

If you fancy some training rides out South with my club, then let me know.

Ballito has reached nightmare levels. The road construction from the highway past Lifestyle is far from finished and the queues to get in to town can extend way down the highway.

A friend of mine lives near Lifestyle and the other day it took her 45 min to get 1km from the N2 offramp to just past Lifestyle.

And that was before the peak season had properly started.

It's a place to try and avoid like the plague at the moment. Absolutely horrible.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Nee Mattie, add some sense of adventure to it

You ARE cycling extensively around ROMANIA ;)

Well thank you.

Romania is always good.

Next time you must join us for one of the little rides. Wish i can be so hard core like you.

also in groot brak area from the 15th till after new year. Lots of riding places. Groot brak Grabadoo race on the 31st is a lekka race to do. (mtb)

If I'm not mistaken, the Monties mtb race from Hartenbos amfiteater is on the 16th Dec. As far as I heard also a very nice ride.
