as far as I know ,if you have been paid out by insurance ,its not your bike anymore

now unless you recognise the bike someone is riding as stolen, you still dont know if the original owner has been paid out.

So i think thats a good place to start,

if it hasnt been paid out, take it further if you want to be Inspector Clouseau.

If youre thinking of flipping your bike that has been recoverd and you have already been paid out, then its illegal and youre no better than the thief.

Maybe thats why theres lots of gardeners riding them?

Who honestly bought a bargain off the original owners who recovered their already paid out by insurance bike. ...LOL...who wont be happy you are stirring the pot and maybe have to answer a few questions to the fraud dept of insurance companies..

Either way..Now...,if you have the time to stop and pull over every gardener that you profile as suspicious?....havent you got better things to do?

maybe start a community policing group instead...

I have a question about data dot. How do parts/bikes etc get monitored? Its one thing to have those tiny stickers sprayed over everything, but how would you be able to police data dot? I have my car done with a data dot system, and I have had my sparewheel stolen with data dot and all.

How do we recover or identify stolen goods with data dot?

Why would he say 'Eish'?. If you want to avoid the accusations of racism and profiling then don't write stupid comments like that.

Data dot can only be read using the correct information scanner

/tool. Most automotive manufacturers have started using data dot in order to curb the parts of vehicles that have been stolen from being sold. Hence the regulations that have been put into place in the used parts market. The system is however not flawless and neither are the people that investigate............. As I found out.

Get off your high horse. I'm white and because I'm South African I love saying 'eish'.

Our country will only move forward when people stop bringing up the race card.

But that's off topic...

How on earth did this turn so quickly? Why is racism such a big part of this country? It's ridiculous. This is a great topic. Useful stuff some of it.

Off to put on my epic pants, w2w shirt and go for a ride.

On a Spaz....????????????????

How does citizens arrest apply under these conditions?

You beat the man / woman to the floor, and when you turn out to be wrong, it"s ok, you just say you thought they were a prostitute and / or gay*

(*Cape Town pilot project, but coming to a neighbourhood near you soon).
