How do you hate on people you do not even know based on what bike they ride?

Assuming some are capable of learning, rather than lazy.

assumption (n): a thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof.

Fortunately those ones are generally quite easy to spot. Usually found in the vicinity of statues with buckets of excrement.

It's because of threads like this, that the Sworks has been relegated to Stage Races only, where I can find solace and protection in the Spez numbers around me.... And I feel the need to confess here and now, that I am a BRAND SLUT! There, I said it. I love and use all brands equally. Is there a cure?

On a more serious note, they (Spez) has decided that the concept store is the way to go. If I were in their shoes, I would to. They have done the long hard expensive miles in the RD departments to be able to dress a cyclist from head to toe, and throw in a bike of your liking too. In SA, when I go looking for my next wrist watch, I walk into a jeweler and I have lots of choice. In Hong Kong, you walk into the Panerai / Rolex / Roger Dubuis / Rolex "concept store", as the brand wants to give you a little of their history, look & feel. If the numbers in any given market allow it, I think the focused concept store works. Will this work for Spez, I don't know, but seems to be gaining traction.... Going to ride my much loved Cotic! Have a Lekker Friday.

So has every car manufacturer, motorcycle manufacturer... they are trying to differentiate their brands form others.

BMW/Audi/KTM.... all have built their own big shiny shops long before Spez did, its a mega trend not a Spez specific "I hate the small guys" thing.
