As mentioned before, Grant stopped, John came past, a km or so John stopped, and Grant came past, and then Grant pulled over and has been busy for almost 50 min. Pure speculation.was the version playing around in my head. John stopped and helped a bit - and then maybe swapped some spares. GU most likely then said, on your way chap go do win this.

I am surprised these guys have not gotten up early to try get some distance in before sunrise. Wind in Sutherland looks not to be in their favour - common guys, get to it !
