Had a set of these 'in-line' brake lever goodies lying around for a while and today decided to fit them to my MonsterCross. Hoping they'll make it just that bit easier to ride when off the tar or even on it.

After messing around with different tyres decided to get a proper set of CX/gravel tyres

1) Kenda Karma 1.9 - easy to make tubeless but looked strange as they quite big for a 'road bike' type thing. Heavy and slow rolling on tar but pretty ok off the road

2) Chang-yong 35mm slicks - no way to make them tubeless. Lekker on tar useless off the road even though I did many miles on them for C2T

3) given a set of RavX 'city' 35mm tyres - just crappy all over and prone to punctures but had those cool 'skin coloured' hipster sidewalls. No way they were 35mm's

4) VeeRubber Rail 40mm - proper CX/gravel tyres, easy tubeless fitting. Flippin heck [emoji41] great on and off road should have done that long ago

Still love riding this bike, at least 3 times a week!781e8abe31fa3668444d355470a5aa18.jpge9c01e6aba3e187ac4c8f2c9d907903f.jpgd8e56405082e1039206337a93c5a582b.jpg

The left hand brake/shifter lever, is it still working because I see no cables connected to it and you've gone 1x in front?

Decals!! Where please?

A mate of a mate, not the kind of stuff they normally do so sadly a once off ... Got the 'proofs', if you can call it that, today as per the attached. Idea was to use a similar font to what the Merida logo is.
