How did you achieve that/how is it working out. I am also pretty keen to do that, but I was planning on using the Wolftooth Tanpan to assist in cable pull between the road shifter - MTB RD. I am also pretty keen to do that, but I was planning on using the Wolftooth Tanpan to assist in cable pull between the road shifter - MTB RD.HI Yusran, the activation on the 105 shifters is the same as the 9 speed XT RD. They work well together. I am using a 10 speed XT cluster for the additional climbing gears. I wanted to use a 10 speed clutch RD from Shimano but they are not compatible, however 9 speed is. Only thing still needed for frame is the bb which I will order when I get the frame as I want to use the Praxis BB30 but want to make sure frame is 100% compatible.
