Are you running the 105 shifters directly to the RD without a cable pull adjuster? How did you achieve that/how is it working out.

I am also pretty keen to do that, but I was planning on using the Wolftooth Tanpan to assist in cable pull between the road shifter - MTB RD.

HI Yusran,

the activation on the 105 shifters is the same as the 9 speed XT RD. They work well together. I am using a 10 speed XT cluster for the additional climbing gears.

I wanted to use a 10 speed clutch RD from Shimano but they are not compatible, however 9 speed is.

And yes it shifts all 10 ratios.

Here are some pics I did not have space for, a hub special, showing the dimensions compared to a Silverback and some other shots. Enjoy

Great review sir! You need to start doing this more often. It is so nice to hear what an actual rider has to say!

This thread has gone cold lately????. I have gotten some more parts????. Only thing still needed for frame is the bb which I will order when I get the frame as I want to use the Praxis BB30 but want to make sure frame is 100% compatible.

What do you want, just brake levers without shifters ?

If so, I think I can help you.

Yes, haven't seen any with shifters for V-brakes. Let me know what you got
