Did two rides with them, and after the 2nd ride confirmed that this is the way they ride, I never rode with them again.Good for you, Uncle Zuma needs more of your type!

Also was taken a back a bit by his attitude to his own safety. To the hubbers saying he is only endangering himself I disagree. We do not live in isolation of other human beings. If he falls on his head there will be ambulances and hospitals involved. Insurance payments maybe and his family will have to bear the consequences as well. I think the OP was right to post this pics.

Christie Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 We helped a buddy into an ambulance on Sunday, after a 40km/h+ crash riding from Kaapsche Hoop to Mankele. He smashed his helmet on some rocks, the helmet still had a fist sized rock stuck in it when we picked him up. As a mountain biker, I do not question the need for a helmet. Is this a roadie thing?
