Dipslick not the only one sitting and looking at his bike....I've had one cycle in 15 days.....I can pull my hair out with the frustration.

I feel for those in need........

I have spent some time on business in Mauritius and La Pirogue in Flic en Flac has been my favourite.

Miles of beach with no crowds and off the beaten track.Their smoked marlin on wholewheat sarmies are a killer at the bar after a day in the water.

One can also rent a self catering cottage or apartment in Flic en Flac which is a nice way to do it.Very reasonable

Maritim also my favourite, the hotel to left is now the Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa.

It can be bloeming hot outside.......and then you go into those airconditioned (16degC) toilets, especially the ones at the beach restaurant........I don't like public toilets in general, but if its 36degC outside........it is all in the detail. Give new meaning to the phrase having a cold one.......on the white throne.

Dips I don't know what you complaining about. I am in La Digue (seychelles) and myself and my son are about to go for a cycle. Weather is great

Very cool place, where are you staying (...although there is a thousand places to stay on that little island ;) )?  I was there in Oct...best holiday ever.  I must say that I enjoy the Seychelles a lot more than Mauritius because not every second person is a South African. Enjoy your holiday

speaking of which, you get on a bike with a downhill tailwind in the end mr dipsy?
