I think you are mistaking Mr Morewood with the other bike brand that is carrying his name .... unfortunately this company is not as on the ball as when he was at the helm.

Yea these guys don't read properly,I still said Morewood bikes not Pyga.

Just been wondering what has happened to Morewood bikes,no 2015 bikes yet and the site does not seem to have much done to it for a very long time now

Answer : Spending his time at PYGA building a carbon marathon bike hence no longer focused at Morewood

The ref to an EPIC was just my opinion

Said Morewood bikes not Patrick Morewood,I think Pat is really showing face lately and Morewood bikes seems to have lost a bit of focus.

Anyway...

To answer the OP's question...

Morewood Bikes seems to have finally run out of Pat's old designs that hadn't been produced yet  ...

I never quite understood why Patrick had (as in left but not forced to leave) to leave Morewood to go and produce another design....

But as an owner of a Zula, I hope Morewood are still functioning and not going to disappear

you should read your first line of your signature/quote again ( as in having compassion)

The majority of people who bought into the morewood philosophy did so because of Pat's passion for what HE built over many years, with all frames being welded here by hand.

Since he was pushed out of Morewood bikes, and has started PYGA, the passion and service has slowly dwindled within Morewood bikes, to the point that they now by all accounts just don't care anymore. Just ask anyone who has needed to get a part from them or had a service oriented request or warranty query. The spark is gone. It's now at PYGA.

Now PYGA (pat) is now producing beautiful bikes - you can see the same design philosophy in the 2 companies if you have a look at the sukuma / jabula and then the 110 29er and 140 650b. So its clear that what Morewood are lacking in spirit is actually Pat...

Just don't break anything on it. Service at the moment is basically non existent if you need anything.
