So we are off 2 hours at a time roughly 3 times a day sometimes twice a day.

Has anyone seen a cheaper electric bill or is it still the same?

Can’t say I notice.

I'm probably using more (havent really done the calcs). Reason being is that instead of letting the schedules turn the geyser on and off I'm now turning it on manually, earlier, in anticipation for the power being out during my geysers scheduled on times. So I'm probably running the geyser for longer than usual.

And then there is the charging of batteries etc. that would otherwise not need charging if there was no loadshedding.

Mine has increased. I thought I would see a saving but I guess not. I also know that we should be using less. But I will wait a month or 2 to see how the bills ad up. I am also turning my geyser on manually once a day. So everyone showers and it gets switched off.

I went to look at my history; only available since February when I changed dongles.

Pink - household usage (June was the first time over 600kWh for a while)
Orange - grid usage (160 kWh, for June isn't my worst month)
