B20 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I was on a 70km ride this afternoon with my road bike. On the R44 heading toward Stellies, past the Pot Belly going on an ascent, I broke a spoke.I stopped, access the damage, phone the missus to fetch me.The wheel went badly out of sync. I decided to walk to a safe area to load the bike when the missus arrives. I carried my bike, within 200m of walking, 2 people stopped. Thank you very much to the lady in the Bantam bakkie and the guy in the Land Rover (with Northern Cape plates)!
