Pikey Posted January 28, 2015 Author Posted January 28, 2015 I took the 2 seat tube angles - 70 on pyga and 73 on common and then applied them to the top tube seeing which would have longer reach. Common takes it.The meta definetly feels more stretched out.
Pikey Posted January 28, 2015 Author Posted January 28, 2015 Okay so to conclude the meta AM was just way better than the pascoe in this test review[emoji12] [emoji7] , and the meta SX is my next bike when the money tree in my yard starts shedding some $$$ha ha not quite.
DubbelBuys Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 You honing in Caps .... Both Large frames Meta ST angle 73 deg, Pascoe 70 deg.Meta ETT 620, Pascoe 627The Pascoe's (actual) seat tube is 70º, but the virtual angle is 73º (BB to saddle rail) which is the same as the Meta's.
Pikey Posted January 28, 2015 Author Posted January 28, 2015 The Pascoe's (actual) seat tube is 70º, but the virtual angle is 73º (BB to saddle rail) which is the same as the Meta's.As you know the tech jargon baffles my brain..????

Eddy Gordo Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 If you look at all those small differences between head angle, wheelbase etc. It all adds up to giving the one bike a better feel over the other.

The pascoe for me is definetly a better all rounder, one bike do it all sort of ride.
Guest Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 As far as I know the pike is 42 mm and the mrp is 43 mm. Stand under correctionMRP Stage OFFSET: 43mm (26/27.5"), 51mm (29")
Guest Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 The Meta upholds its big brother DH characteristics.
Pikey Posted January 28, 2015 Author Posted January 28, 2015 The Meta upholds its big brother DH characteristics.and you can feel it when you ride it that's for sure...
Bizkit031 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Anyone here ever ride a Mondraker? Just wondering if the Meta feels stretched what are these Mondys like with their really stretched top tubes.
