divernick Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Well done to all involved in organising this event and preparing the track! I'm glad that I took gears this year as my fitness was lacking a bit. Managed 2 more laps than last year so I'm very happy with the result. Congrats to Jules on the very convincing win! He cruised past me like I was doing trackstands! I just discovered "fly-by's" on Strava - check it out - you can clearly see the speed differential between the riders. All-in-all a great day! See you all back there in 2016!

It somehow didn't get read out completely during prize giving...ja I heard that. The announcer just said "the Trail" (I think).anyway, really rad line!my shoulders and upper back screaming at me since yesterday but I'm not listening.
RocknRolla Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 There was a guy cutting grass at the bottom after the tree line, just before the wooden bridge. Each time I passed there I imagined how deafening, chainsaws, cowbells airhorns etc must be on a downhill run.....

Yes, there was a prize for the most laps on a Single Speed in the solo category. And with Julius Cobett winning both prizes - most laps solo and on SS. Impressive effort!
