The Guy in Pink Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Louis Trichardt lost a true gentleman this morning . Mohammed Rasool the owner of Cycle Centre ( The fisherman's paradise) apparently suffered a heart attack whilst taking a gentle ride around the houses in his suburb on his bike. Mohammed made friends with everyone who came into contact with him - he never had an angry word with anyone. When our family first moved to the town his bike section was mainly "dikwheels" but as he recognised a demand he started to stock more and more lightweight equipment - eventually joining in our events himself with his sons. He has sponsored many cycling and fishing events at was always available with his boys at the Kremetart to help with breakdowns. Our thoughts and sympathies go to his wife Shada, his sons Meboob and Mohammed Jnr. They have lost someone very special. He was buried this evening according to custom.

I grew up about 60km out of Louis Trichard and one Saturday morning my dad and I went to his shop and I got my first proper fishing rod and Mitchell fishing reel. That reel is still in my tackle box.
