I have the Titan that is sprayed as a Cow for fundraising.

I agree that this should not be the only bike in the garage. The Titan is a lekker fatty and not really that heavy compared to your other fatties.. obviously cannot compare it with a fatty costing R30k+.

rudi-h.. hahahaha.. nothing pedals as hard as a makro bike with perma tubes.. you just made my day!

Maybe all of you with your negative remarks should just try the Fatty for the fun of it! Careful cause you might just end up buying one.

It looks cool, as all new-fangled gadgets tend to be, but after I rode one at Eagle CanyoCycles, I hated it! Reallly disliked it very, very much  Yesterday, while flying downhill on path from JHB Botanical Garden, I saw a young-ish Indian guy pushing his fat bike up the hill. I'm sure if you look in the Classifieds he might be selling it at a highly reduced rate!

You tried it and didn't like it - cool! That is different to just shooting from the hip.

I love my Silverback Fatty and ride it once a week on my off/fun days, did 2h30min yesterday in Jonkershoek and its blasting down the single tracks, climbs a bit slower than my 29'er, but it keeps a permanent smile on my face.

For R13 000 its the best buy and value for money and a great second bike!!

It can also be used if you are the hunting type: "Shot only photos, leave only footprints" can now be "Shoot only antelope, leave only fatbike treads"

How much does it weigh ?

Only the more expensive lighter type is worthwhile .Carbon frame ,descent wheel set ext. .Around the 40 k mark then they weigh about 13kg

I can get you an OnOne Fatty at around that weight for R20-25k... PM if interested.
