Trance 2 bottle cage

I just use a normal cage. The brain and the right hand learnt how to do it after a few rides. Doesn't bother me any longer. Try a different shape bottle maybe?

Arguments both ways for that. Yes, you carry too much water but you don't have to fill it and it helps if you do an OTB. And it really makes sense if you're going to make yourself fall by struggling to free your bottle from its cage while riding. Matter of taste but it's an image thing, methinks, like having bar ends or valve caps.

I always ride with camelback if i do more than 30 km... But always have a bottle with clean water... Always use it to clean mud or eyes or whatever so need the bottle. Will try that side cage

I have the same problem on my Trance,  size small. I fitted an Exact side entry cage. However, I still struggle to fit a 650ml bottle.

Had to modify the mounting screw holes on the cage to drop it slightly as well as mount slightly to one side. Also changed the brake hose clamp with a loose zip tie.

She still don't fit proper like.......

Hydration pack is now unavoidable on longer rides.
