Wheel Wobble

But why post it on the internet when you could simply go back to the shop, show them your concern, and see what they advise?

By not naming the shop, but naming the area, you now implicate a number of shops and that's not cool.

Be a decent customer and go back and ask them to fix it. If it turns into a problem, then come here and bitch but otherwise just be understanding that sometimes things aren't perfect, but can always be fixed.

I am also VERY interested about this, because this happened to me with 4 different tires, anf the lbs told me that nothing can be done about this, its just a defect in the tyre.

Take a plastic tyre lever and hold it against the chain stay almost touching the rim and spin it. If there's more than a mm or two of warp around the wheel they need to true it again. If not then it's the tyre. You can try deflating it and re-inflating it without weight while ensuring it seats evenly. If this doesn't work you can try and contact the tyre rep and get a replacement, I've had one Schwalbe do this and it was replaced.

It's not an unseated tire, I have seen this on tyres often, the casing collapses and the tyre snakes proper after that .

I have 1x continental race king sitting in my garage where the beading has stretched and does exactly this. You can see it when you mount the tyre. It's bizarre.

I'm not bitching Drago. I posted the video to get advice before I go and blame the shop. I said named the location wit tongue and cheek. I love that shop and wil always go back.

@Wyatt - If it is the casing, can I fix it or should I buy a new tyre? Or will deflating, straightening and inflating do the trick?

It depends on the age of the tyre.

You might and I am saying "might" just get a warranty replacement.

Failing that, a new tyre.

I have seen it happen across numerous brands of tyres .
