Does 200g make a difference on hills when the pace is constant?

 

I don't think much and if the heavier wheels are aero you'll gain it on the flats and downhills.

Jeez are you ones riding MTB cassettes? Its not the Alps, its Mpumalanga. 

 

What bunch Oomie? After you attack on the hill you'll have to go Solo to the finish.

What wheels are you guys using, as light as possible or deeper carbon wheels for the downhills

 

My 50mm are lighter than my Alu by a long way so they staying on...

How are the road surface? Tubbies or clinchers?

 

Road surface in Nelspruit is excellent. On the Brondal road not so great. White River to Sabie is good and Sabie back to Nelspruit is very good.

yr.no says 2m/s wind and starting off at 8 degrees in the morning and rising throughout the day. Gonna be a nice day out in the mountains  :thumbup:
