Hey fellow cyclists! I was greatly shocked to find out that my bikes brake pads are almost the same price as a small cars brake pads! This is ridiculous seeing that these pads is about 20 times smaller!!! I don't see how they justify these prices?

Yup, even mtb tires are the same price if not more than that of a small car. It ridiculous actually how expensive this sport is and feel like we being ripped off badly.

Very expensive yes... it is scary what some of the stuff costs. especially a item like brake pads etc. not to mention tyres...

I also had to buy brake pads recently and nearly died... I will never buy brake pads again. I have decided not to brake at all anymore.

Sell the bike and buy a small car.. you will be happier

On a serious note it costs me more to maintain my bike's than my wife's Chevy Spark BUT I don't get that same feeling when I drive it ..... [emoji41]

If cost is an issue just make sure you getting sintered and not organic, lil noisier but the longevity is worth it.

Nothing, completely Free. It is however dependant on the SA post office. However my experience with Aliexpress has always been good.
