Not sure why I am now under fire for asking for the organisers to take some responsibility. I am saying that perhaps its best to not create your own version on events based on complaints here, we are giving first hand accounts. Also, rather leave the Lemmer thing out, thats a sliperly slope and we have been down that road. This is about 2016 ToGH not previous events. ASG has taken responsibility for this, their CEO was persnally standing there trying to get the CSA tannies to stop their nonsense at registration, not their ASG Events CEO, the Group CEO, he was also with me after day 1 at the Grey timing stand kakking on them with me. As mentioned, Sonette is a super star, I would love for her to work for us! So in summary, the event is fantastic! Race village, food, route, safety, etc... all great. Just the timing. The rule change for the TT made sense, TTs are usually 4th rider across, not combined times.

Patches, just to make sure we both understand, the TTT rule actually used was for the combined times of all 4 riders as confirmed by the organisers? They didn't use the 4th rider's time?

They didn't use the 4th rider's time?No, 4 riders combined for normal stages. TTT was 4th rider across. This is done to make sure you ride as a team. Well that's my take on it at least

Doing the time keepers job again... They still havent added 2 of our top 4 riders for day 1 yet... The winner in the "We dont know what we are doing competition"??? They listed my old man as the over all winner!! Beating Sam Gaze by an hour and half.. Go dad!! (he didnt even ride today!) Dog Show!!

Dog Show!!I really feel for the riders and sponsors here. We really needed a relatively hassle free and well organized event. Multi stage mtb events are a dime a dozen, but the roadies have to contend with sub-par timing and communication. No matter how hard the CEO screams at CSA and the timing co, they needed to get the basics right. Friends of mine who are riding said that they will not return, regardless of the empty promises that will surely follow after the event.

Dog Show!!Yeah same here. Day 1 add 30 minutes. Day 2 was good and Day 3 add 44 minutes. A lot of people have zero time next to their names. Not quite the same as DNF
