Definitely not doing this one, cant think of a more boring ride. There is so many nice roads they could use in Pretoria area, (think of Nelson Mandela race last year) and this is what they come up with. Maybe they worried about fires

Maybe they worried about fires I really hoped someone would start a proper mass start event based on last year's Mandela race, you have Loftus as race village, you can cycle past the Union Buildings, you have some big roads in Pretoors to use, decent climbing up Klapperkop (Rigel/Florence Ribeiro comes to mind). But out and back on the N14, that's just stoooopid...

I can't see how they couldn't come up with something better in 4 years time. I understand there is a lot of logistics to sort out, but when you put 4 years into something you do a proper job of it.
