How high should you go ? Don't want it looking disproportionate. For the ladies of course !!

Tina Turner had a song about this..."Nutbush Shaving Limits" or something like that

Not for me thanks, reasons :

Looks good - I'm not in the habit of looking at other guys legs and will feel very uncomfortable if other are looking at mine.

Healing quicker - I'm not planning on crashing every time I ride, if you find you do then rather spend money you would on shaving on cycling lessons.

Massage - This is the only reason I can think of but I don't do the legs massage thing, but if you do the then yes I believe you should shave as it cannot be pleasant for the poor person massaging.

You guys are talking a load of nonsense. Ticks and massages???

Men are egotistical beings...so simply....after training your butt off, you finally have a pair of ripped legs...of COURSE you shave to show them off.   I mean really....lets just call a spade a spade.

Truer words have never been spoken , NAILED IT!!!!

Have you tried an epilator?  I tried my wife's one just to see what it's like - prolonged pain is the answer!  Why would anyone want to do this to themselves?

I agree with Scotty - not for me.

And if I'm going to crash, then I'll do it properly and remove all the hairs with the skin at the same time.

On where to stop, bottom of the cycle shorts.

If you look like your are now wearing shorts made from your Alsation's fur, then keep going.

Nothing is more manly than a guy standing in a shower shaving his legs....

If you not competing in the Tour de France then you have no need to shave your legs. HTFU and deal with the pain and the mud. We are men after all, or maybe you are confused?

I don't think guys realistically think they are competing in the Tour de France.  Most guys would settle happily for just beating their freinds. :)  But if shaving legs makes you feel like a TDF winner then I say go for it.  Remember also Strava is real.....
