SuRomano Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I still don't get the whole fat bike thing. Seen some guys on the trails with them and doesn't look all that fun. Maybe it's like buying a 4x4 and putting on over-sized impractical rims/tyres. Anyway, whatever floats your goat :-)

UpShift_Cycles Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Im buying a fat bike over the weekend which will be a mess around bike. Everyone has pretty much covered the expense of them above. I will be using it too ride on the beach to melkbos, milnerton etc for change of scenery. For 4k I really don't mind the thing rusting away over the next year but I would mind a 15k being used on the beach every odd day and seeing its demise
