I tried to fit my bike, which the salesman assured me would fit (29 er MTB with 29 x 2.2 tyres), bit it does not. I tried both wheel size setups as suggested in the manual. Do I need a specific training wheel and tyre? And do the cassette need to be similar to my current setup? Or am I missing something in the setup? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. [emoji51]

TheKaiser Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Did you let out the resistance screw at the back enough as well? Mine was previously used for a 26in mountain bike and I had the same when I fitted my road bike...

[emoji51] Pop off down to your LBS and buy a R150 Kenda Kwest road tyre. You'll have to run that on your rim in place of your MTB tyre. I suggest you buy an el-cheapo rear wheel off the classifieds, and use that as your training wheel

Mopkop Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Jip, as said above. Ive got the same tacx unit and i cant use my 29er. Sucks balls but ja. It only fits when its flat :-(
