I've taken the points breakdown offline... with the subs from yesterday I need to spend sone time updating the formulae... [emoji36]

It's been a hectic last 48-hours for me... but here is the points scoring for today:

 

STAGE 18

 

How will you be scoring points today?

 

 

Stage finish

2.0 points per rider if your chosen riders cross the finish line and are classified as a finisher. Today is a MEDIUM MOUNTAIN stage, with a rating 4/6.

 

 

GC Classification

The GC leader (in yellow) gets 0.1 * No. of Riders that finish the stage, i.e. 172 * 0.1 = 17.2. Everyone else gets points based on their time relative to the winning time. The formula to calculate the points is as follows:

·         RiderTime          Rider’s current overall race time

·         LeaderTime       Current race leader’s overall race time

·         Riders                number of riders completing the stage

·         BETAYellow          0.1

 

 

Young Rider Classification

The White jersey leader gets 0.7 * No. of Riders that finish the stage, i.e. 29 * 0.7 = 20.3. Everyone else gets points based on their time relative to the winning time. The formula to calculate the points is as follows:

·         RiderTime           Rider’s current overall race time

·         LeaderTime        Current race leader’s overall race time

·         Riders                  number of riders completing the stage

Sprinter’s Classification

One intermediate sprint, with points:

 

·         10.0 – 8.5 – 7.5 – 6.5 – 5.5 – 5.0 – 4.5 – 4.0 – 3.5 – 3.0 – 2.5 – 2.0 –1.5 – 1.0 – 0.5

 

At the finish line, the first 15 finishers score points, with points as follows:

 

·         20 – 17 – 15 – 13 – 11 – 10 – 9 – 8 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1

 

KOM Classification

·         2 x Cat3 climb2, so 1 point for the first person over each of the climbs;

·         1 x Cat2 climb, so points for the first 4 riders over the climb (5 – 3 – 2 – 1);

·         1 x Cat1 climb, so points for the first 6 riders over the climb (10 – 8 – 6 – 4 – 2 – 1);

·         1 x Cat2 summit finish, so double points for the first 4 riders over the climb (10 – 6 – 4 – 2).

 

Most Aggressive

Due to the 4/6 rating for today’s stage, the Most Aggressive rider will score 200 points.

 

Team Classification

Points are awarded to the top 4 teams at the end of the stage. Points available are as follows:

 

·         7 – 4 – 2 – 1        

 

Bonus Points

1 point is awarded if one or more of your riders is wearing one of the category jerseys, i.e. Yellow, White or Green, as well as the Best Team. If a rider wins more than one jersey, the less important jersey is worn by the next rider on the standing (this rider does not qualify to score points).

 

Breakaway

·         40 points per rider in the break.

·         400 points for every rider in the break that finishes ahead of the peloton.

 

Daily Prize

Everyone that had one or more rider in the break on stages 14 – 18 will qualify for the draw for today’s prize.

the points monitor link off the competition page opens as a read only for me.

There is only 1 team in the top 20 that has not been affected by 1 or 2 withdrawals mostly TJ, Kwiatkowski and Maincheese. My guess is that TJ will lose about 80 points and the two Youth riders will be about 150. So it's still game on with breakaway bonuses the deciding factor.

Check now - I didn't add the validation which gives the drop down selection.

I've tested it with another gmail account and it seems to be working fine now.

I have 2 guys in there again.. Pinot and Fuglsang

There is only 1 team in the top 20 that has not been affected by 1 or 2 withdrawals mostly TJ, Kwiatkowski and Maincheese. My guess is that TJ will lose about 80 points and the two Youth riders will be about 150. So it's still game on with breakaway bonuses the deciding factor.

 

I've also lost the two, Kwia and Maincheese. But luckily I've got 4 in the break today. So still game on :)

Renshaw (EQS) abandons @letour. That is a total of 37 riders who have pulled out of #TDF2015 since @LeTourUtrecht.
