Hi,

Please help me decide Bianchi Infinito Ultegra with Ksyrium Elite wheels or Specialized Expert Ultegra with Ksyrium Elite wheels.

Bianchi R9 000 more

I have the bianchi and man it is a nice bike. There is also just something special that i cant explain being on a bike with so much history. 10k more though is quite a bit.

Yes it is such a sexy looking bike. But like you said is the 10 k worth it. I have a couple of nights to sleep on it and will decide tx

No contest. Has to be the Bianchi. I would go with Campag instead of Shimano though.

Tx for that if I go for Campag I need to add another 10k.

It has Campag now and they want R59 500.

R49 500 with ultegra

Which Specialized is it? The Roubais, Tarmac or Venge. 3 completely different bikes, with different purposes.

The Infinito is more of a comfort orientated bike and is best Compared to the Roubais.

Personally I believe the Bianchi is over priced. As nice as they are, I just cannot see the value in it.

I honestly believe that if you spend this much money, you should buy the bicycle you want. i.e. there is nothing worse than buyers remorse.

By asking the question whether it's worth paying more for the Bianchi, I assume you already know which one you really want.

I'm on the Infinito and it's a great bike. The only thing better is my other Bianchi. Mind you I've never been on a Spez ever but if I didnt ride Bianchi it would be the Venge for me. Dying to try that bike.

I'm not helping you choose. Just buy what you like most. Performance between the 2 won't matter anyway. It's all about looks, likes, price and personal preference.

Enjoy!!!

The Bianchi is a beautiful bike. Spez is also nice but not beautiful.

I just sold my Venge was a great bike but decide to go more for a climing bike or a bit more comfort

I had an older Bianchi 928 RC with Super Record. Responsive but yet so comfortable especially on longer rides. Climbing was good even for a 7.5 kg bike. The Tarmac to my knowledge has race orientated geometry. I would go for an Ergofit to check which frame is best suited. A Bianchi even with Campag Athena 11speed on is the way to go. Remember Campag wears in, everything else wears out.

The future is green,,, Bianchi green. And after you've used and enjoyed it for many, many years without breaks, cracks or drama, you can sell it for a good price.
