I made sure I tightened the valve properly and air is not escaping from there.

 

I'll check it out but I just think that there isn't enough "meat" on the rims wall to accept the plastic strip and allow the tyre to hook in properly.

Yes it is.

 

I though of that & it should work but want to give the tubeless valves a go first.

For your 29er, a 24 inch BMX cruiser tube should work well if you go that route.

 

Kevin at Cycle Fusion has some 24inch tubes with presta valves.

I have got the shop where I got from to place a large order with their supplier. Will let everyone know when the stock arrives.

the bike shop i deal with have already got the tubes and i can get them anytime

 

 

 

and why do you want removable core thats taking the easy way out!!! smiley2.gif

it makes converting a pesky tyre simpler. You can inflate with out the core to get air in faster to seat the bead. And I'm lazy.........

I had to pay R360 for one stans strip this morning, if I were'nt strap for time I'd go this route for sure. The stuff is just getting to damn expensive..
