Are there any bike shops out there that are holding or planning on holding stock of the new SRAM GX range?

It's apparently much cheaper than the X9 range but same quality.

We will be as soon as its available. We have ordered a couple of GX builds from Pyga (who bulk order internationally) but obviously those will be built onto Pygas.

If you feel the need to ensure credibility why don't you take the necessary action and call your lbs.

I never said I did. However, this is a community, and if you carry on behaving like you have been, constantly sniping at people and just generally being a bit of an ass, it's not really conducive to people getting on with you. 

 

Maybe employ a bit of what society is lacking at the moment, and police yourself. Think how your responses will come across to other members. Practice moderation in your approach and be a little bit more civil. It'll go a long way to undo the reputation you seem to have already built yourself.

So you just wasted the LBS's time. You could have just called CCS yourself and posted here saying you just called them etc.

yeah, it's been available there for a while. GX cassette is still more expensive than the XT though, which is why I'd probably go for the XT cassette over the GX and a driver upgrade (which I can't do on my hub atm, so it'd be a new hub & wheel rebuild as well)

 

I still reckon I'd go GX RD & shifter with the XT cassette though. I like the SRAM goodies. Every one I've ridden has been just that little bit crisper on the change than the Shimano stuff. And I like SRAM.
