Huge fun! Luckily I got bumped up to D and even there I was pretty quick, so I had a pretty great race despite only dossing a bit over 3 hours last night.

yip 75km ... thought at 69km with not much in sight .. it will probably extend by a few kms ..

Ya. Must say, I enjoyed the last 5km. Nice single track today. The snapled valve and 2 dropped chains were a bit of a pain, but couldn't spoil the fun. Lekker forest trails.

I hated the last 10km, it was so bumpy I thought my fork had given up on me.

 

Really enjoyed the rest, must say this was a lot harder than year. Or maybe I just had one of those days

I agree. Certainly harder than last year, but I don't think it's in the very tough category.... Hakahana will be 3 times harder.

Yip ended on 75km, Strava seems so think it was 76.6km.

Was my first marathon, I enjoyed it - except for the last 10km as others have said.  Only recovering from a cold on Friday also didn't really help.  Luckily this was also fairly flat as my winter training hasn't been the best
