Bianchisti Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I can see what you mean by Meintjes climbing like Cadel. He mixes up his climb quite a bit between standing and seated and high/low cadence. It's when his grinding a big gear when he looks like Cadel' big diesel engine.
Patchelicious Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 And even on Wednesday [emoji6] as tomorrow is a rest day [emoji5]Just saw next stage
Bianchisti Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Meintjes seriously announced himself on this tour. If he hadn't already done so before. Lampre got in at the right time.
Gen Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Nice one Frank.. 3e stage win for Trek.. ???? they'll be very happy.
Gen Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Tell you what that TT is going to be one hell of a TT..
Oxter Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Tell you what that TT is going to be one hell of a TT..Agree...i dont know what to expect. This is a really exciting vuelta
Nibali Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I see the Maincheese has a 1:30min advantage over Pozzovivo. I know he has a good TT, how is Pozzovivo? Will our boytjie (or is it boytje?) hold on to his top 10?

Will our boytjie (or is it boytje?) hold on to his top 10?Some mixed messages from this story about his TT performance from 2 years ago. It either means he could be really good or on the other hand he could be not so good.
Gen Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 It's a long one.. there could be a lot of time lost or gained.. I very much doubt Rodriguez will still be in the red jersey after the stage. [emoji17]
tombeej Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Purito, Aru and Landa are all terrible against the clock. Pozzovivo is average to fair. Average on a flat course, but did come 3rd behind Spartacus and Martin 2 years ago on a hilly Vuelta TT. I'm not too sure about Louis' current TT abilities, but on a positive note remember that he did come 8th in the U23 TT World Championships in 2013 (when he got his silver in the road race). Let's see how this translates into the tail end of a senior grand tour. Holding thumbs for the lad.

Ja Rodriguez sucks at TT that's about all we can say about his TT abilities.
Patchelicious Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I hope Doumie hasn't emptied his tanks holding on over the last few days. He must rest up good and proper tomorrow.

Gen Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Flat, but looks quite technical over the last section of the course. That's were Meintjes might battle. . Hope not, hope he has a smooth fast ride.
