Seen this idea a few times on pinterest/instagram so decided to try it myself.

Got some old handlebars and stems from Woodstock cycle works (thanks Nils - what a fantastic shop!) I love the bar that had "Bent as the Soviet sickle "written on it.

Dad has a hardware shop - wood and respray organised.

End result works really well, suits my new bike room perfectly.

Wow, that's really nice Nix.

I'm nowhere near as handy and DIY as you though so I went for a cheaper option and had my wife hold it up in the garage when I'm not out riding.

I keep her happy and smiling by telling her jokes or tickling her under the arms  :D

How often do you mow the walls?

Me - NEVER.... :)

It's pretty slow growing stuff.... but the garden services sort it out as and when needed...

Very good - although I think my work one is pretty good too... :)

HTFU - like it.

(It's what I tell the wife when she complains that her arms are getting tired)

And it's what she tells you when you cry like a girl after she moers you?

very cool. I have my bro's 20 year old Peugeot in storage. was thinking about a restore but that's going to cost $$$ so maybe I should strip it down and do this.

I'm jealous of your bike room...

You are going to much, much more jealous when you hear its having a therapy bed put in it - and my wife is a physio
