Please help ...

I have a Garmin 800 which I connect to my pc via a cable (Not BT)

This charges my monitor , but it is not uploading to Strava .

This is usually done automatically .

I have 3 rides which are not updating .

Is there any other way of uploading them ??

automatically can only be done via garmin connect, which about 90% of the time is down....

Check this is not the case... if so, restart the application

As for the comment above, the 800 does not have BT

I absolutely hate the Garmin Connect software AND the fact that we have to use it to sync a Garmin to Strava.

i must say, its more consistent(not better) on the phone(android) than it is on the pc, but that again ofcourse if the Garmin device is BT compatible

I upload directly from file from my Garmin 800 to Strava, can't be bothered with that Garmin Connect rubbish.

Sure it would be convenient if it was automatic as promised but it never frikkin works!

Manually upload the rides.

Click the + on the top right corner of your Strava page, then click Upload.

Then click File on the left side of the page that comes up (under the Strava logo).

Click Browse next to the block.

When the new block comes up, go to the left column and find your Garmin.

Double click on it.

Double click Garmin, then Activities, then choose the rides you want to upload.

Viola...!

Isn't that what I said?

You don't need to.

When you connect the Garmin it shows on your computer as a USB storage device, just go to activity and then copy it to the computer locally.

Once there do a manual upload into either Garmin or Strava.

I've recently had the same issue. I had to uninstall Garmin Express then re-install again. Started synching automatically again after that.

it started a few months back - the extension on chrome was disabled (google changed this) so you could only do it through IE.

since the launch of the 525 with the love strava segments, all auto syncing needs to go through garmin connect (assume was part of the agreement)

agree above garmin connect is a waste, i upload manually to garmin connect and then strava and training peaks feed from that
