Ferret what are you doing running 100km weeks already?

So 2 days till entries open, who has decided to pull the trigger this time round?

Seabee hope you are in this year.

In it to win it...

Ran the Wanderers 21km yesterday... ran a surprisingly good time considering my relatively low level of training.

Shedding a few kg's has definitely helped - time to push on though and start getting in the regular miles.

Kaapsehoop organisation from our clubs looking a bit sketchy - might be doing Soweto after all. The finish at the Calabash should be pretty awesome though if that's how things turn out

And Ferret is doing 100km a week already because he is not normal

Lekker route, well organised, lots of ups and downs... through some nice leafy suburbs, even a small section through James & Ethel Grey park. Very popular, 6000+ runners, but all very smoothly run. Perfect weather too... not cold, not hot. Happy days, more of the same please

Not Normal Indeed...

Week 13 of my 16 weeks to Cape Town Marathon sneaked me one 100km week.. Now we can start tapering again..

Also did Wanderers, good challenging course and always well organised..

2 Days to Entries opening again.... Feels like we have just got to Kingsmead only a few weeks ago..

I was hoping they would make me faster going uphill, but that did not happen... :whistling:

According to Soweto Pages, there are only 300 entries for the marathon left before the cap of 9000 is reached.

Usually just a marketing ploy to push entries... but I've entered. Seems our clubs Kaapsehoop planning has kind of falling away

Must be as Championchip show only 4207 entries sold for the marathon so far

Am i the only one having trouble signing into the Comrades Website. Just want to check if my Details are still correct. But it keeps on telling me my Username and Password are incorrect.

They assign some random username and password to you initially... so unless you changed it, it might not be what you think or usually use. Also just logged in no problem
