I should probably start training soon

You have not concentrated, Andrew... It's still way too early to start training. Unless you're doing  Oceans. Bugger, I was slightly shocked to see how little time remains for that.

For Comrades folks I need some advice. Some familiy of my wife offered their holiday flat to us for the week of Comrades. The only problem is that the flat is in Balito.

Any ideas how I can get to PMB ? Uber ?  I heard there are shuttle services from Umhlanga ?

Looking at you guys/gals' training up to now, I suddenly feel over-trained.

I didn't have te best of Januaries. Mainly due to my calf injury, but also work stress related. Retrenchments on the horizon - if you're struggle to sleep you struggle for energy to train. But I still managed a good 230km. So far I'm on 90km for February and hoping to push it to 280km.

I promise you if I could have run more, I would have done triple what i'm on now.

My knee is still giving me problems, I thought it was runners knee kicking me at the beginning of the year, but after 2 weeks off and slow slow build up, I still can't shake it. Getting despondent over the awful lack of millage..

I have only managed 185km so far this year on foot, another 43km in the kayak and 300 odd on a bike(all indoor wattbike training), but building slowly into it and feeling good with no niggles and running faster than ever which is good. Also sent 24 in the climbing gym so feeling pretty solid all round.
