Fisan Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 This Saturday is the final XCO event on the UCI calendar. To prepare myself mentally I tried to watch the XCE. Then I find out Red Bull doesn't have broadcast rights - Shimano is in charge this time...okay...I see they do live streaming via YouTube - this should be good I opened the replay tab of the XCE only to be encountered by "The uploader has not made this video available in your country.' What!? Not then end of the world: copy-paste link into https://al.proxfree.com/ - no more country BS errors...Since all the qualifiers included the streaming was 3h total I skipped to the Mens final - its like 4 minutes max. Halfway into the lap the broadcast gets interrupted (IN THE DEMN FINAL) only to be resumed 2 minutes later when all the action is over...wtf. Slipping through the other 3 hours I saw many similar streaming-downtimes too. Watching the past 6 WC events on RedBullTV worked pretty well - adfree and excellent streaming quality (none of that farking annoying Marriot and Cecil Nurse interruptions). So Shimano, please don't mess up the XCO

What a performanceI don't think people may appreciate what an excellent result this is. He hasn't spent all that much time racing in Europe, so lacks the experience and race development that the European riders undergo. Having raced in Europe (albeit on the road), I can't even begin to describe the level that the Euro riders operate and race at. Unbelievably tough! Congrats Julian. Give him some time in Europe and he can develop into a top-end pro.

What a performance came here to post that - and frankie du toit 27th in the girls.....KZN MTB has done a lot to shape both these kids...they can only go from strength to strength

I think her result is amazing considering the mechanical.
