Cheap, quick and works !!

50-70g sugar

  • One litre of warm water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 200ml of sugar free squash
  • Mix, cool and drink

Just as a matter of interest why 'sugar free' squash and then add sugar anyway?

For taste, also some squashes/juices/cordials have non nutrional sweetners which add nothing.

Rather then use a sugar free drink, I use concentrated lemon juice, works well - balances the taste.

Bliksem but you guys have got your pitchforks in for USN !! I'm definitely not punting USN here , but just curious if it is all supplement suppliers , or only the local ones ? You know , the ones that sponcer the most local races and are therefore the most well known ??? Cause I mentioned earlier in the treat that although I also fully agree with real food being the best , it is a bit difficult to go full throttle while chewing and swallowing at the same time , so I'M hoping there might be some other brand of substance that's locally available that might not be torched by the nutrition experts here on bike hub , so I can take a sip of "enter the holy grail her " and feel like I'm not being shafted , and yet get my nutritionist fill !!!!

I don't think it's just their brand or even all their products. I'm sure some of their stuff works, like the recovery supplements, which have scientific case studies to back up their effectiveness. It's probably all the weight loss, mass gain, get ripped, ultra endurance for days, kind of stuff that's been challenged and found lacking in credible evidence.
