'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Just got back from ride to this Go Froome/Sky Watch the last 15 kms ????
'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 It wasn't planned... it was just bit of fun really. I thought I’d give it a try, I had a go on the climb and nothing was sticking and I thought I’d give it a go and see what I could do on the descent – see if I could catch someone out. It was real old-school bike racing, just fun. Maybe I spent a bit too much, let’s see, tomorrow is hard day and 20 seconds isn’t a huge margin but I’ll take every second I can get at this stage." Thor Buttox Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 No look well done Froome.. I actually enjoyed that.#gen-erous
HappyMartin Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 You have to say that Quintana has stuffed it up. He was riding too negatively and I think Froome going for KOM points on the previous climb led him to not take much notice when Froome accelerated at the top of the last climb. He thought Froome was just after KOM points again and never reacted. When he looked up Froome was gone and who expected him to go downhill like an Italian.

Froome DawgLol I enjoyed that interview.. genuinely looked like he was happy.. Always nice to see them actually enjoy it. Great move by him but how stupid were the rest for not chasing him down sooner.[emoji53]

'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 SNIP Great move by him but how stupid were the rest for not chasing him down sooner.[emoji53]He would've hoped for disorganization at the packAnd they would've all been unprepared for such an audacious move chapeau Froome Dawg

He looked around for team mates and support....
