Phil & Co is talking bollocks. There were many screenshots where LM and Yates were riding together, and some shots where LM's back was taking up the whole screen. Also, at one point they listed all the teams in that select group, and Lampre was not even listed, even though LM was there. There were also some shots were the showed all the riders in that group one by one, but break away just as LM was about to be shown.

It is just a pity that LM have no support riders for any GC top spot ambitions.

That's what happens when you get any Brit commentary team.. it's all about the British riders and British team.

Also why I enjoy guys from Sportza during the spring classics..they commentate on the race and not only a select few riders.

The peloton is still a large group as the riders make their way up the long but gradual climb at a fairly steady pace, with many handing out bottles to each other. It's clear that this climb won't be much of a factor - the real racing will be saved for the final couple of ascents.

102km remaining from 184.5km

Luke Rowe and Ian Stannard are setting the pace on the front of the bunch for Sky, which gives an indication that this climb has been given first-category status due to its length rather than its gradients.

That was the right call, AC.

Bring on the Olympics and the Vuelta. Still lots to look forward to this season.

Yip

Always sad to see.. he just brings another element to any race he rides.

Time to get healthy.
