Veebee Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 What a disappointment watching Quintana. Clearly doesn't have it in him for this tour.
Pure Savage Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 What a disappointment watching Quintana. Clearly doesn't have it in him for this tour. I think last year just looked close as Chris Froome was sick in the third week.
Gen Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 What a disappointment watching Quintana. Clearly doesn't have it in him for this tour.In 5 years time we will be saying hey remember that Colombian that looked so promising, wonder what happened to him.
Pure Savage Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Waiting for them to ask about the co-leader Tejay and co leadership!!!
kosmonooit Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Amazing scenery today, can't wait to watch it in HD (as opposed to smogey blockey bit streams)
Bonus Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 NQ is probably waiting to attack at the Shanzelize. Now that Cavs gone home? I bet he couldn't believe his little Colombian socks!
Pure Savage Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 In 5 years time we will be saying hey remember that Colombian that looked so promising, wonder what happened to him. Will open up a bike shop.

ZakAttak Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 In 5 years time we will be saying hey remember that Colombian that looked so promising, wonder what happened to him.Let's hope this won't happen... still a promising rider... hopefully next year he'll prove that he is a proper contender...
Mntboy Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 General classification after stage 17 1 Christopher Froome (GBr) Team Sky 77:25:102 Bauke Mollema (Ned) Trek-Segafredo 0:02:273 Adam Yates (GBr) Orica-BikeExchange 0:02:534 Nairo Quintana (Col) Movistar Team 0:03:275 Romain Bardet (Fra) AG2R La Mondiale 0:04:156 Richie Porte (Aus) BMC Racing Team 0:04:277 Alejandro Valverde (Spa) Movistar Team 0:05:198 Fabio Aru (Ita) Astana Pro Team 0:05:359 Daniel Martin (Irl) Etixx - Quick-Step 0:05:5010 Louis Meintjes (RSA) Lampre - Merida 0:06:07 Louis TOP TEN!! - Dan Martin, Valverde, watch out! Also, Bardet growing on me...Happy for Main Cheese! Bardet probably the best of the Frenchies, likable too. Hoping RP can leap frog into third, Bardet into fourth and Yates holding on for fifth with Main Cheese getting a top ten too, in Paris of course!
nochain Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I wanted to mention that a few days ago and was hoping I could find an article on that. That was when I lost all my respect for RH. A few youngsters proved him wrong. If I remember correctly he said it will take 10 years before other SA riders will be at that level. He was not far off in the end...We have only in the last 2 or 3 years really had guys up there. He was on his own up there for a very long time. But yes most did not like him because of things like that.
nochain Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Think Meintjes has a very good opportunity now to get up to 8th!Valverde might drop out of top 10 and Martin looks like he is suffering.Gooooooo Meintjes!!!!!
rock Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Good one L.M, and to think a few years ago Robbie Hunter made mention there were no SA riders able to ride TDF. Froome my man he said that much more than a few years ago, was probably from more than 10 years ago.
