If you want to hit some of the single tracks without congestion then you should do the Saturday ride as well.

If you pause and think about this, it should actually make things worse. I have not had traffic issues in the 55km for the past 3 years.

Does any of the other mass participation events like the 94,7, CTCT or K2C allow number collection on the morning of the event? I would imagine that its a recipe for chaos if over 3000 people descend on a registration setup on the morning of an event.

yes, K2C does.

Is there anything you need to take along for registration?  Or just a smile?

A signed indemnity form, but I'm just lazy and have them give me one at registration and sign it there.

Can someone please explain to me what the rationale would be to have the registration in Rondebosch today, and in Stellenbosch tomorrow?

Could they not find a venue a bit more central?

To cater for the capetonians and then the outlanders.

I'm so excited, can't wait to go fetch my number because then I get to see what's in my goodie bag. I'm commuting so I hope my goodie bag can fit into my backpack!

I promise you the goodybag will fit into your backpack, that is unless your backpack can't fit two cables ties and a number board.

Really cant believe that after forking out R300 bucks for the 55km there's no goodie bag. I wasn't expecting something amazing but something none the less.

Ag, for the most part I think goody bags are over rated anyway. Of the numerous races I've done, maybe five gave me a goody bag worth remembering. I think I've tried enough mysterious goos, trail phase cooldrinks, and cerial testers for one lifetime. If you want the worlds best goody bag for the price, enter the Buffet Olives MTB race in Paarl.

I like trailseeker's goody bag, i have enough nissan socks to wear a pair each day of the week now. And they seem good quality as well. Not that i am the worlds biggest Nissan fan, it just happens that i am driving one at the moment but that's purely because the opel corsa is overpriced and i cannot afford a hilux anymore.
