Question to the immigrants...

Has anyone here sold a car in NZ yet?

Is it an easy process?

What documents does one need?

If there is still money owed on finance, does that have to be paid before the car can be sold?

It is a simple process which takes minutes to transfer ownership, all online, to the new buyer. Any finance must be settled before sale.

Thanks Intern!

I'm down in Christchurch for a client event, but decided to stay for Saturday too, so I can try sell my car before I head back up to Auckland.

Also need to pack my bicycle and squeeze a dirt bike ride in that time

Busy weekend ahead!

SUCH a beautiful day out today! Pitty I am stuck inside.

Was freaaaaaking cold this morning though, frozen fingers on commute, but the sun made the sky nice orange colors over the water as I was leaving home already (should have taken a photo)...getting light earlier and earlier now

So on an extremely personal note.

About three years ago I weighed in at 92KGS.

Most of you have met me and know that I am almost legally a midget, so that's a lot of kilo's for a short guy.

I struggled to lose most of the weight but had managed to get down to around 75 kgs. The last few kilo's have really been hanging on for dear life.

As much as I was not that interested in my wife's crazy plan to switch to a predominantly plant based diet, I reluctantly agreed simply because I am lazy and don't want to cook. But the results have actually been quite amazing and profound.

Here is a little graph of my weight loss over the last year as measured by my Garmin scale. Can you guess where the plants came in :)

Honestly speaking, at no point in the last three weeks have I "missed" meat. Its kinda weird. We have been eating fantastically well.

Now, I am not about to grow dreadlocks and start living in a forest or anything and god help me if i become one of those vegan weirdos, but maybe, just maybe, there is something to this....

That is great news, Wayne.

I've been vegan for about 1,5 years and I can't ever go back. It's a profound life choice. Just keep at it!

If I can offer you one tip, it would be to ditch the dairy.

Just for incase you guys aren't aware....this weeks weather is going to give me depression!

I was thinking exactly the same thing this morning. We have had a couple of great days the last week or 2 though.

The reason Kiwis discuss the weather so much isn't that we're boring gimps (or isn't only). It's just that there's such a huge variation of it... :)
