I wanted to go for a ride this past weekend only to find out that I don't think my tool box made it into the container.  That and the cable on my dropper post has been damaged so I will need to take it in for repair.

I have tools with me to assemble and set up most of a bike (no chain whip etc though), let me know if you need help (what bike do you have with you?).

I went and bought a shock pump on sunday and an el cheapo set that doesn't look half as nice as WP set. Thanks though.  I don't even know where chatswood is! lol

ok so chatswood is west of the NH1. i am slightly further up north and closer to the eastern bays.

Seems I am getting my 1st visitor from SA in next month......ja, totally unexpected that I am missed already (and it isn't even a family member...hehehe)

 

I am thinking of flying my sis over for December break time, I do not know how my parents will feel about not having both of us there for Christmas though, last year was my 1st ever Christmas not spent at home and it was tough on them, so that my mom cooked a whole Christmas lunch for me now in April when I was there for the last time (Christmas serviettes and all ).

 

This  weekend I am doing no 'admin' things, just riding and exploring the parks and beaches etc etc.

Popped up to Kawau Island this past Saturday. For those who haven't been, it is highly recommended - you don't have to have a boat either, you can grab a ferry from Sandspit for the short 8km journey across, pack a picnic basket, hike around a few of the trails and what have you, and enjoy. It's a stunning place.

While we were there, the floatplane which flies out of Auckland Central showed up and taxiied around the boats, that was pretty awesome.
