My partner has her own Discovery medical aid, vitality (diamond) but uses the same Discovery credit card, a card linked to mine. I've recently gone from full time employment to freelance. My partner works at a corporate. Is there any advantage to be gained for me to become her dependent as far as Discovery goes? Is this even possible? Fortunately I wasn't standing in a queue perhaps without any cash trying to pay for a smoothie with a broken app not presenting a code... That would've left me seriously bleak! I know that I made the required weekly targets comfortably, but I am not too sure how many my wife made. It would be really handy if they could make their calculations of the payouts visible.
