But oddly, if I lie on my side with my legs bent I feel almost nothing. I just need to get into that position, which is a bit of a palava. and my butt looks exactly like a Tokai baboon's. The body is strange.

Not sure about the time, but I think allowing 30 minutes from there should be OK, perhaps 45 minutes to give a bit of a safety margin? It can be slow to work your way through the city centre. So, I think we'll aim to be waiting on Main Road at the N2 bridge at 08h15. How does that sound? If you think my time estimate is off, let me know.

You can ride what you want (even a tricycle)Pace is very relaxed, it is parents with kids in tow, etc. Why don't you join the group cycling in from Durbanville, (like we did last year) then you can get in a good training ride to boot.

Nice, leisurely ride (very leisurely) with a coffee stop or 2 along the way. Meat up with Team DJR en route (I know where he lives) so it'll be seamless. I'll be wearing a lumo orange helmet and have some toys strapped to the bars.
