Considering the official route is still an unknown, the one used in 2009 and also for the older Vet's tours is the one we recce'd today, which was more for the newbies as this is our backyard.

Expect plenty potholes, especially on Joan road before the Cheese factory. Might be too much to expect the organisers to fill them, but they may just surprise everyone.

Will we be protesting/boycotting? Maybe - we'll see on Wednesday after our meeting and on Thursday evening after our meeting with GEC officials.

If seen Tupperware parties with better organization.

I won't be riding due to the bad organization.

Its just gona be frustration and confusion on race day. Id rather just go for a trainig ride and save myself the trouble.

We will boycott, used to better than this from CSA and Gauteng. Badly managed. I am not going to let my cyclist attend an event that is so badly managed, to get a medal that we already have (same medal each year). No details for TT or Road, what gives.

Show up where? What time, time table for TT? Really, my rider is better off going on a structured training ride.

Safety is paramount and if the officials cannot be/get organised, then I will not subject my cyclist to such an unsafe event.

I agree with the boycott 100% , Even though the entry might reasonably priced they offer us nothing for our money, time or effort  . At the end of the day we are all paying customers and should be treated that way. I'm tired of the F y@u attitude from CGC .

If you are going to boycott and/or are unhappy with this, please tweet it to @Cycling_SA and use the #gautengchamps.

The people must know that we are doing this, otherwise they are just going to think we are too lazy race.

It's actually the newly formed (April '15) Gauteng South (Sedibeng) "region" that is organising the Champs.

Armando Ribeiro is our champion organiser and communicator.

You know that ball Tom Hanks had as a friend in that movie where he was stuck on an island?

That thing communicates and organises better.
