Butterbean Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Had the same concerns and went with the garmin 510. Live tracking works really well and I didn't even have to justify the expense! Wife practically forced me to buy it. I know Sanlam was also advertising an app to do live tracking too. Never checked it out but it's there.

WrightJnr Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 As suggested earlier. Life360. Free. Supports most platforms. Just works. Has a really cool feature where you can get notified when someone gets home for example. So my wife gets a notification automatically when I get home from a ride.
lechatnoir Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I use LiveTrack with an Edge 510, and am glad I do. So's my wife. I think that the Garmin ecosystem gives more info than Strava. Correct me if I'm wrong. Garmin streams all your info, heart rate, cadence, temp etc etc
