Do anyone know what is the fastest time for the 94.7 with a mountain bike with normal mountain bike tyres ?

Sorry Gemmerk@t -hijack here

I'm always amused by this bit on road race discussions -"mountain bike with normal mountain bike tyres ?"

have seen mtb'ers replacing their front forks with rigid forks, removing shocks, completely replacing their chainrings, groupsets, putting on v-brakes - basically rebuilding their bikes for roadraces but F$%$^! don't touch those knobblies because then it is not a mtb anymore - one guy I know even imported featherlight paperthin knobblies from china that won't last a kilometer on an actual trail but at least it's knobblies!

Was just curious, as I took my mountain bike as I was using for mtb events for this year 94.7 race. Made no changes at all.

The lengths people go to to claim they scalped a Roadie. Must hold roadies in greater esteem than MTBers give them credit for

Just like the mtb teams at DC, one team even had narrow carbon bars, rigid forks and removed 70% of slime.

My mind boggles
