I am so disappointed in myself for finishing that portion of chips.

Things were going so well

Party's over, Dave...haha!I rarely touch chips. Have you ever tried convincing yourself that some food is just crap? That it's just not cool to eat that macaroon until you've got home and made a coffee? It's a mindset thing. Sure, chips taste great at the time. Especially if the time is after you've had a skinful. I kinda look at chips and see greasy sliced spuds. So they don't appeal. Seeing something differently can make it less appetizing. I have managed this with chips. Macaroons required a different approach...I buy extra to munch on the way home. Baby steps.

Apologies, just saw this thread now, I definitely need to join in this challenge, about to go to the Cape for 3 weeks, this might just spur me to ride, paddle and swim with the kids instead of sitting back in a camp chair sucking on cold Castles (1895).

It will be a success if I don't pick any kilo's up over the festive season.

Added my details to the spreadsheet if that is cool.

Thanks

Lunch is a lovely Fillet on the bone with chips at the Grill House, half a bottle of Kanonkop Cab and two glasses of Grappa, oh, and a salad because I am watching my weight. ...

collectively we weigh 4235.3 kg, or 2 land rover defenders.

edit: one of the landrover models anyway is ~2100 kg

Can't compare us to landrovers, at least we can get started!

It seems that my scale at home is a liar and cheat. I weighed myself at the warehouse and I'm actually 93.5kg.

93.5, 1m76, Gauteng, Mtb and the road bug is currently sinking it's fangs deeper with each outing.

As long as you use the same scale at the end the result will be pretty much the same.
